FourNet, the customer experience and AI transformation partner founded in Manchester in 2005, has acquired SVL Business Solutions, a Glasgow-headquartered contact centre and customer experience specialist. The deal was announced on 15 October 2026.
The combined business has more than 230 people, over 450 customers and revenues of around £65m. SVL brings a team of 41 employees. The release does not give the price.
The two companies have worked alongside each other for nearly a decade and share technology partners, including NiCE. SVL’s work in interaction recording, analytics and workforce management has broadened over the past five years into wider customer experience transformation and AI, with customers in financial services, utilities, public safety and other enterprise markets.
FourNet said the deal strengthens its work in financial services and other regulated markets, an area of growth for the business. SVL customers will keep working with the same people while gaining access to FourNet’s wider team. David Kindness is chief executive of SVL Business Solutions.
“Organisations are now moving AI out of pilots and into everyday customer service,” said Richard Pennington, co-founder and chief executive of FourNet.
FourNet has been backed by private equity firm Palatine since 2021. James Painter, partner at Palatine, said: “This is FourNet’s fifth acquisition since 2020, and we are delighted to continue to support Richard Pennington and the management team as they build a unique platform in the sector through a combination of organic growth and carefully selected acquisitions.”
FourNet’s customers include Haier, Target Group, MoneyPlus, the Cabinet Office and NHS ambulance trusts.
